Winter fun
Schladming is known for its perfectly groomed slopes, which have something to offer for every taste and every skiing ability. Families with children and pleasure skiers will find wide, sunny south-facing slopes, while demanding skiers follow in the footsteps of the world champions and compete on the FIS downhill run on the Planai, on which the spectacular night slalom is held every year. The 223 km of excellently groomed slopes of the 4-mountain ski area range from the Hauser Kaibling to the Reiteralm. Along with the Hochwurzen, the Planai is the central focal point of the ski area.
With the free ski bus, which stops right in front of the hotel, you can quickly and easily reach the Planai valley station. The entrance to the next cross-country ski trail is approx. 50m from the hotel.
But also non-skiers get their money's worth in the region: 472km of perfectly groomed trails, numerous toboggan runs, ski tours, ice skating, snowshoe hikes, game viewing or a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride ensure a winter experience away from the slopes.
