The Hotel-Restaurant Schwaiger is located in the middle of the idyllic municipality of Tauplitz in the Styrian Salzkammergut and is one of the oldest and most beautiful holiday destinations in the Alps. The fresh mountain air, the wonderful panorama and the almost endless forests invite you to pure relaxation and regeneration. The valley station of the Tauplitz mountain railways is right next to the hotel and is the ideal starting point for hikes on the Tauplitzalm lake plateau and for hiking excursions in the area around Tauplitz. For all those who have exhausted themselves enough while hiking or cycling, the hotel provides a free pick-up service within a 15km radius, no matter where you are.

Meals
Large breakfast buffet with vitality corner, daily afternoon snack from 3.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. with coffee and pastries, in the evening 5-course gourmet menu of your choice including a crisp salad buffet.
With the AMA seal of approval, awarded for the use of regional and local basic products and a restaurant recommended by “Kulinarium Steiermark”.

Winter fun
The modern four-seater chairlift on the Tauplitzalm plateau is right next to the hotel. A car-free winter world awaits you at 900m to 1,965m above sea level with 40 kilometers of sunny slopes and the most modern facilities - ideal for skiers, snowboarders, ski tourers and off-piste skiers. The next cross-country ski trail is only 200m away from the hotel.
