BOYANA RESIDENCE

General description

Located 10 km south from the centre of Sofia, Boyana Residence is a governmental residence with free access for individuals, surrounded by a large park at the foot of the Vitosha Mountain. The building was constructed in 1974 and since then it has hosted a number of high-ranking guests ? royals, heads of states and government delegations from all over the world enjoyed their stay at the Boyana. The complex welcomes individual guests as well as organised groups who are taking part in international conferences, seminars, congresses and workshops, providing superb conditions for meetings as well as sports and business tourism. The main building offers a conference centre with 9 differently sized meeting halls, the largest having 150 seats. They are equipped with technology for simultaneous translation and other state-of-the-art facilities. The vast park is excellently maintained, providing unique recreation and walks among magnificent water cascades, lakes and rare flora species.
