The extraordinary Heritage.Hotel Hallstatt is located between mountains and the lake, in the midst of the UNESCO World Heritage Hallstatt. Within a 20-minute drive you can reach the thermal spas in Bad Ischl and Bad Aussee.
Facilities
The Heritage.Hotel Hallstatt combines three historic town houses into a special kind of hotel: The main house Kainz is located directly at the ship landing stage and has a reception and the excellent à la carte restaurant "Im Kainz" with classic Austrian delicacies and regional specialties from the Salzkammergut , Breakfast area and cafe. The historic, castle-like house Stocker welcomes you about 3 minutes from the main house with a romantic feel-good atmosphere. Haus Seethaler is approx. 5 minutes' walk from the main house and awaits you with a fantastic view of the lake due to its slightly elevated position. Bathrobes and umbrellas can be borrowed from reception. Free WiFi is available in all houses.
Payable on site: Public car park P1 with shuttle service (every half hour between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.): EUR 15 per 24 hours. Dog on request: EUR 15 per night (not permitted in the shuttle from P1 and in the restaurant). Local tax EUR 2.50 or from 1.1. EUR 3 per person / night from 15 years.
Rooms
The 55 individually furnished rooms have a bathroom with bathtub and / or shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, safe, minibar, WiFi, Nespresso machine including tabs and tea service, as well as some with a balcony and lake view. In the listed buildings, no two rooms are alike, each one enchants with its own story.
DS (2-2): Standard double room, 18-25m² with market view in House Kainz or limited lake view in the other houses, no balcony.
DD (2-2): Deluxe double room, 22-26m² with lake view in House Kainz or balcony and lake view in the other houses.
DU (2-3): Superior double room, 25-50m² with lake view and balcony or small terrace in house Kainz and lake view and balcony in the other houses.
JS (2-3): Junior Suite, 45-55m², with lake view or separate living room and bedroom with market view in house Kainz or lake view with separate living room in the other houses
ED (1-1): Deluxe room for single use.
The division of the rooms to the individual houses is the responsibility of the hotel.
Meals
Generous breakfast buffet including Prosecco and fresh smoked fish specialties.
When booking half board, a 3-course evening meal in the hotel restaurant in Haus Kainz.
Activities
For a fee: every Wednesday evening tour of the Bad Aussee salt mine.
Winter fun
Two ski areas, the Freesports Arena Krippenstein in Obertraun (5km) and the family ski area Dachstein West (20km), can be reached within a very short time with the free ski bus. A ski bus stop is approx. 1 km from the hotel.
While the Freesport Arena Krippenstein offers the longest descent in Austria with around 11km and 30km of off-piste variants, the Dachstein West ski area welcomes you with a total of 142 perfectly groomed kilometers of slopes of various levels of difficulty.
Whether cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, an extended winter walk or a romantic sleigh ride, around Hallstatt you not only expect a unique winter landscape, but you will also encounter numerous cultural monuments.
