Set next to Lake Wörth, the family-run Seehotel Engstler enjoys a central location in Velden, directly next to the Casino Velden. It offers a private beach area, a spa area renovated in spring 2017, a beach bar and a restaurant. Klagenfurt is 25 km away. Discounts on green fees and is included in the rate.
All of the spacious and individually decorated rooms come with a flat-screen cable TV, free WiFi, a balcony or a terrace with lake views, a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, and a fridge.
The spa area comprises a 28° C warm infinity indoor and outdoor pool, a Sanarium, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and a relaxation room. A further sauna is provided at the beach area, where you can also sunbathe. A spacious gym with TV is available and massages and cosmetic treatments can be requested.
A big park-like garden with a putting green and a playground is a further feature of Seehotel Engstler. Bicycles and canoes can be borrowed free of charge and electric bicycles are available against a surcharge. Free child care is provided during the day and main season.
Half board comprises a rich breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu. A wine cellar is a further feature of Seehotel Engstler and a free wine degustation is organised once per week.
The Velden Basic Card is included in the rates and offers various discounts in Velden and the region, for example discounts on boat trips and free admission to the public beach. The Velden-Köstenberg Golf Course is a 15-minute drive away.
