Peculiarities of ski holidays in Sölden
The ski area in Sölden includes 148 kilometers of slopes, the elevation difference is about two kilometers. There are 37 kilometers of glacial slopes in the resort, and most of them are represented by blue slopes.
There are a lot of red runs here, their length is 63 kilometers. Black slopes, the most difficult ones, are about 28 kilometers long. Blue slopes - 53 kilometers.
The skiing season in Sölden begins in November and ends in May - it is during this entire period that snow lies in the resort.
It should be noted that Sölden is the only ski resort in Austria that offers three peaks over three kilometers high, accessible from the central part of the village. Incidentally, they are known as the Big Three.
On the territory of Sölden there are four schools teaching skiing and snowboarding. These educational institutions employ 240 instructors, some of whom speak Russian.
