Lake Garda - a place where life boils

Lake Garda is the largest freshwater reservoir in Italy, which you will find on the way from Brescia to Verona, an hour and a half drive from Milan. The area of ​​Lake Garda is 370 square kilometers, it lies hidden among the beautiful Alpine mountains, and due to glaciers, the water in it has a slightly emerald hue.

The landscapes that you will see here, you will not find anywhere else. Lake Garda is very popular with tourists, because in addition to the picturesque views of the lake itself and its surroundings, there is an excellent infrastructure here - the reservoir is surrounded by nature reserves and botanical gardens, architectural monuments, museums, theaters and beautiful beaches.

On the coast there are ancient cities and villages, a significant part of which was founded during the existence of the Roman Empire. Here you will find several dozen objects that are part of the UNESCO heritage.

The water temperature in the lake in the summer months is about +27 degrees. The beaches on Lake Garda deserve special attention. They stretch for several kilometers, and in terms of their convenience they are not inferior to the beaches of Italy, located on the sea coast. The swimming season on Lake Garda starts in May and lasts until September. The beaches here are sandy and pebbly, access to them in most cases is free, they are well equipped with everything you need - some of them have sports equipment rentals, as well as places to sell drinks and snacks.
