Tyrol – what a traveler can visit
While in Tyrol, start your trip by visiting the capital – Innsbruck. If you are traveling with children, be sure to go to the Alpine Zoo. It is worth noting that walking tourism is especially developed here, and this place offers many well-maintained roads and hiking routes.
One of the most popular attractions in Tyrol is Tratzberg Castle, built in the XIII century. Locals gave it the name “the pearl of the German Renaissance”.
Tourists often visit Hall – a small suburb of the Innsbruck region, where the Mint and Gazegg Castle, as well as the town’s streets, are of special interest.
The most popular and main attraction in Tyrol is, of course, Swarovski Kristallwelten. Be sure to visit this museum complex, which will immediately catch your eye: it is built in the shape of a giant’s head, which actually forms the entrance to the museum. Inside, there are seven halls connected by crystal corridors. The museum houses the largest crystal, weighing 62 kilograms. The smallest crystal is also exhibited here – it can be seen only under a microscope.
Not far from Innsbruck there is an unusual house where all objects are turned upside down. More precisely, this attraction is located in the village called Terfens.
And finally, if you choose the walking route Yodel, be sure to listen to the authentic Tyrolean yodel – scientists have concluded that this song improves your mood.
