Moldova – the earth paradise, where you do not need a lot of money for happiness

Moldova is a republic, situated in the southeastern Europe. Those people who have been here at least once, tell that they rarely met in the world same hospitality as in Moldova, in spite of own traditions and the way of life. Surely, during your journey in Moldova you will not find golden beaches, palm trees, tropical vegetation and sea breeze, but this country attracts tourists with other things.

If you want to feel comfortable in Moldova, you do not need much money – it is true! You will be surprised by low prices on everything – hotel accommodation, transport price, country tours, sightseeing and restaurants.  

Moldova is unique by its culture and architecture due to influence of a neighboring country – Romania and soviet era.   

It is recommended to start your travel to Moldova from visiting the capital – Chisinau. It is a truly green city with many trees, leisure parks with lakes and fountains, squares and alleys. You have to visit the memorial complex “Eternity”, metropolitan restaurants and taste the delicious Moldovan cuisine. Every traveler must go to the unique underground city of wine – Cricova.

During the staying in Moldova, we recommend to visit the city Soroca, often called as a gypsy capital. Here live many gypsies – wealthy, respectable citizens, led by a baron. The main attraction of the city is the fortress Soroca, which anyone can visit. By the way, there are tours to gypsies’ houses – you will be deeply impressed! There is a house, which looks like Bolshoi Theatre! 

Another place to visit is the Old Orhei. Here you will find many interesting things, starting with nature beauty and ending with cave orthodox monasteries.

We recommend you to visit Moldova from the middle of spring until the end of November. In spring everything is buried in flowering trees, in summer the weather is warm, vegetation is pleasing to the eye and soul, and the Moldovan autumn – especially beautiful time, when the heart fills with romance, the head – with verses.
