Český Šternberk – an ancient family castle set on top of a rock above the Sázava River. For its beauty and wealth, Šternberk is often called the Pearl of Posázaví. You will learn the history of the castle and its owners. And for a while, you will “turn into” an aristocrat while strolling through refined halls where luxurious chandeliers, portraits, sculptures, and noble trophies won’t leave you indifferent. After the medieval castle comes the famous Ossuary church.
The Ossuary Church – one of the most popular tourist sites in Czechia. You will be amazed to learn that around 50,000 skeletal remains are used here as décor: they adorn the walls, arches, and ceiling vaults, and bones are also used to create interior items — chandeliers and crosses. This place evokes mixed feelings, yet it strongly attracts and fascinates visitors. The final stage of the tour is a walk through the historic center of Kutná Hora.
Kutná Hora – famous for its silver deposits and charming old streets. You will learn the city’s story and what life was like for medieval miners in Kutná Hora. Thanks to its picturesque center, the town is included in the UNESCO cultural heritage list.
You will also have the opportunity to see the Ursuline Monastery, the Baroque Plague Column, the former Mint, and visit the Church of St. Barbara.
